The automobile four-wheel locator is a data acquisition part consisting of four measurement probes. The sensor in the measurement probe respectively senses the light coordinates of the infrared transmitting tube on the measurement probe relative to it, which is transmitted to the wireless receiver in the cabinet through the wireless transmitter, and then transmitted to the computer host through the COM port in the industrial computer for calculation and processing. Because the sensor reflects the relationship between itself and the infrared emission tube on the corresponding measurement probe, and the measurement probe is connected to the car rim through four wheel clips, the relationship between the four rims can be measured through eight sensors, so as to determine the wheel positioning parameters; Eight sensors form a closed quadrangle, enabling four-wheel positioning measurement of the vehicle. In practical applications, eight sensors on four measurement probes are equipped with filters in front of the lens to eliminate the interference of visible light on the infrared emitting diode bright spot image.


The data processing part is a four-wheel locator host, which mainly includes a computer system, a power supply system and an interface system. Its function is to realize the user's command operation of the four-wheel positioning instrument, collect and process the image data of the sensor, and display it together with the original design parameters, and guide the user to adjust the car wheel, and finally print out the corresponding report.


The four-wheel positioning instrument diagnoses and treats the above discomfort symptoms of the vehicle by measuring the positioning Angle. It is divided into front wheel positioning and rear wheel positioning. The front wheel positioning includes four contents: kingpin rear inclination Angle, kingpin internal inclination Angle, front wheel camber Angle and front wheel front bundle, and the rear wheel positioning includes wheel camber Angle and front wheel bundle one by one.
